Have you ever contemplated learning how to help save a life in a medical emergency, yet don't have the time to attend medical school. This is one of the best ways to accomplish that task with no formal medical training. Gun shot trauma or other traumatic accidents, which can result in a life threatening bleed, must be addressed immediately to be effective, and can be treated by a trained individual. This class is the obvious first training choice for shooters and others too.  Bullets & Bagels is pleased to announce a "Stop-the-Bleed" class to be held at the Alpert JCC Long Beach on Sunday September 8, 2024 at 10:00 am. Meredith Burke, head of security and retired federal agent, will be our instructor. She, along with retired emergency physician/B&B member Dr. Darryl Werner, will guide  students to the use and proper implementation of these life saving techniques. If you are a shooter, this is a must take class. You never want to find yourself in a bleeding situation, either yourself or with another individual, and have no idea what to do. Do yourself and others a favor, learn this potentially life-saving skill.

And the class is FREE!

This class is open to everyone, there are no prerequisites.  Membership in Bullets & Bagels or the Alpert JCC-LB is not required.
